TASK'S OBJECTIVES
Task development logical structure
The insertion of each task in the project context maintains
a structure that highlights the general objectives of
LIFE Ambiente, preferring those to pursue, which are:
- Project management with the divulgation of the results
to the European Comunity (task 1);
- scattering, transferring, promotion of the project
to other European realities (task 2);
- Actions to pursue in order to gain the results of
the reduction of the eutrophy (tasks 3,4,5);
- Actions required to control the results (task 6);
- Actions of training and certification of the results
(task 7).
Inside each task, at a first level we have located
the territorial (lakes) context of the interventions,
at the second we have put the single actions.
Task 1 Activities management and
presentation of the reports to the committee
Project coordination and management: the project wants,
as a primary aim, to demonstrate the innovative technique
based on the synergistic use of mycorrhizes, PGP bacteriums,
zeolites and BSF wastes in depuration techniques, so
that we can obtain a substantial reduction of the eutrophic
substances (Nitrogen and Phosphorus) into the Trelaghi
waters and in all those wet areas compromised by great
eutrophic problems.
Task 2 Sharing, transferring,
promotion
The expected objective is to share this initiative to
a maximum number of people and interested bodies, including
the other similar European territorial realities (wet
areas) with the best promotion techniques and for a
wide temporal space that will continue after the project
accomplishment.
The image return for the project promoters (European
Community - Life Ambiente), for the operators (recipient,
partners, co-financiers), for the local users (new employees,
turists, naturalists,
) is fundamental and it's
pursued with the proper actions contemplated in the
project.
Task 3 Specific activities for
reducing the euthrophization elements (Phophorous and
Nitrogen)
The purpose of reducing the euthrophization elements
is achieved through the installation of specific filter
ecosystems that are interposed between the dumping pipes
and the lakes or complete the existent depuration plants
refining their effluents.
Task 4 Spread areas activities
for reducing the euthrophization elements (Phophorous
and Nitrogen)
The aim of reducing the euthropic elements is pursued
through some low fertilization impact agricultural methods,
with the emprovement of the roots apparatus instead
of chemical fertilizations
Task 5 Areas activities for reducing
the euthrophization elements
The aim of reducing the euthrophization of the Candia
Lake waters is pursued through the marsh revitalization
with the restoration of the natural process of plants
natural extraction power of the nutrient elements by
the typical processes of the wet areas.
Task 6 Analysis, verifications,
monitorings
The aim is to quantify the environmental benefits, in
terms of the three lakes euthrophic reduction, from
the application, to fito-depuration and fito-extractions,
of the technological innovation proposed: (rizosphere
symbionitical processes improvement through the inclusion
of bacteriums and mycorrhizas into the root systems
and the creation of a medium with chabasistic zeolithes
and BFS waste).
Task 7 Certification, formation
The aim of the action is to achieve, at the end of the
project, the three lakes environmental certification
according to the EMAS and ISO 14000 standards, and the
creation of environmental formative and educational
courses.
The certification is directed to testify the three ecosystems
environmental conditions improvement, and to ensure
the maintenance of the pursued results in time, ensuring
to the local administration an image return which will
be noticed in turism and eco-compatible occupation growth.
The courses are directed from one side to the partner
bodies operators training and to the other to the educational
activities for the compulsory school.
